I, myself am hopelessly devoted to Pantene Pro-V, event though it is similarly maligned on the internet. But, in the interest of being "trendy" and "natural," I gave L'Oreal's EverPure shampoo and conditioner a whirl.
It smells just like the Aveda Rosemary Mint products and lathers up nicely. The main difference was that my hair felt heavier throughout the day. Almost like day-after washing hair. The smell lingers, which is nice, but I couldn't get past the heavy hair.

I love Pantene and I have literally used everything else from all price ranges. I always come back to Pantene. So I guess I love sulfates and will have to grow a thicker skin re Web malignment! Dishop

Ugh. I don't think this smells like Aveda at all. In fact, my husband commented that my hair smells like "men's cologne". (I have the Rosemary Mint conditioner.) But I agree with the heavier hair feeling. The best sulfate-free shampoo/conditioner was this Ken Paves cheap stuff that they discontinued and replaced with a more expensive Ken Paves line.
